Q: Do I have to share personal information in order to sign up for the Suze News email newsletter?
A: Yes and no. The only required fields of information are your Email Address and your ZIP Code. All other fields in the newsletter profile are optional.
Q: Okay, I filled out my profile to get the Suze News email newsletter. Why? What are you doing with that information?
A: The reason we ask for information like ZIP Code is so we can send you emails that are specific to your area of the country or world. We do not sell or share your personal information with people outside of the Susan Werner marketing and sales teams. We hate it when people solicit us in the middle of our dinner, and we would not want to put you in that position. Enjoy your dinner.
Q: I filled in some information when setting up a profile for the Congregate/Protest area of the site. Why? Where does that go?
A: We ask you to fill out a profile to access the discussion boards in Congregate/Protest to protect you and yours from SPAM and unwanted content. This is also so you can control the amount of information about yourself that is made public at any time. Make sure you review and set your profile options. You can choose to keep your email address and online status private, or permit it to be public. You are in control of how public or anonymous your information is when participating in the discussion area of SusanWerner.com and you can change your settings at any time.
Q: Is the Congregate/Protest area moderated? Why and How?
A: Yes. We believe in freedom of speech and expression, and we also believe in keeping the Susan Werner web site a positive and safe environment for her diverse listening audience to experience. The Congregate/Protest area is meant to be a space where people can share their thoughts, responses, and ideas. We will audit messages that come in, and will use our discretion as to messages that need to be witheld when necessary. If you have posted a message and do not see it yet, it could just be that there is a delay from the time postings are submitted and the time they are approved. Q: What if I want to post in Congregate/Protest but I don't want to sign up for an account?
A: You may write an email to congregate@susanwerner.com or protest@susanwerner.com and we will post on your behalf. Please note - there may be delay in your message appearing, depending on the volume of emails we receive.
